NJPPP - Submission Requirements for The Nigerian Journal of Politics and Public Policy Review

Authors submitting to NJPPP must ensure compliance with the following guidelines, as incomplete submissions may be returned for revision.

The Nigerian Journal of Politics and Public Policy (NJPPP) is a bi-annual Journal established by/domiciled in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Benin, Nigeria.

NJPPP operates an anonymous double-blind peer review system (by both local and international assessors), NJPPP publishes only papers and reviews that make distinct and original contribution to studies in the social sciences and humanities. Hence, original and well-researched papers are hereby invited from interested scholars for publication in the Nigerian Journal of Politics and Public Policy (NJPPP), vol. 7, no. 1, 2021.

Papers submitted for consideration must meet the following requirements:

Manuscripts should be submitted in English with an abstract of between 200 and 250 words.

Originality of work shall be confirmed through plagiarism test, to ensure distinct contribution to knowledge. he article should not be under simultaneous consideration for publication elsewhere

Manuscripts should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words and typed double line spaced on A4 paper, and in 12 points Times New Roman

Only the full name (surname last, and no initials), address, current status, institutional affiliation, e-mail address, and phone number of the author(s) should appear on the title page.

References should be documented following the 6th edition ofthe APA

Book review is critical, informative and evaluative exercise that documents the progress of the field of the inquiry and its advancement. NJPPP invites submission of book reviews of between | 6,000 and 8,000 words (in any branch of the social sciences and humanities-—local or foreign) based on works that are (classical or very recent) original. Each submission ays be assessed only on evidence of payment of #5,000. 00 (or its foreign equivalence)
